About King Township, Ontario
Most of King lies on the protected Oak Ridges Moraine and in the Greenbelt, which keeps it largely rural: rolling hills, forests, farms, horse properties and golf courses. Its three main villages are King City, Nobleton and Schomberg.
In the north, the Holland Marsh is one of Canada’s most productive farming areas, often called Ontario’s “salad bowl.” The south end, around King City, is home to estate subdivisions and some of the GTA’s most valuable properties.
King is also home to Seneca Polytechnic’s King campus and several well-known independent schools, including The Country Day School and Villanova College.
